Our Electrical and Instrumentation roots go very deep! Way back in the early 1980s, Wells Group began as the humble Wells Instrument & Electrical Ltd. At our core, we have always offered electrical, instrumentation and automation installation, along with commissioning and maintenance.

And over the years we have refined our skills and gained a huge depth of experience on contracts that have ranged from a modest to multi-million-dollar budget.

In the 1990s, we expanded our offerings to include field services. Since then, Wells has consistently shown leadership in field service technology and innovation by utilising the latest technology available. When we couldn’t find a technology solution that significantly improved offerings for our clients, then we invested in developing our own.

Engineering was the last component needed to round out our services. We developed our own in-house engineering team to meet the unique and specialised engineering needs of the energy sector. This team has evolved into an adaptable resource highly qualified to provide input on technology projects and developments across the Wells Group.

Today, the different arms of Wells Group operate cohesively to provide our clients with high-quality, effective electrical solutions from Kaitaia to Bluff.
